What is MIT OpenCourseWare?
To fully understand what MIT OpenCourseWare is, we first have to understand the concept of OpenCourseWare.
At is core, OpenCourseWare (OCW) consists on the publishing of learning material as ‘open content’. This means that the IP of certain pedagogical content (lessons, homework, lectures, etc…) is openly and freely published online for anyone to consume. The content published is usually related to subjects from superior university programs, like bachelors and Mscs.
MIT OpenCourseWare is just that: free lecture notes, exams, and videos from the Massachussets Institute of Technology, one of the most prestigios technical universities in the world (@MIT) . These courses are easily accesible, requiere no registration, and are part of MIT’s Office of Digital Learning.
